What child restraint systems are accepted on board?

You may use a FAA-approved car seat or child harness if you’ve purchased a seat for your child.

Accepted systems:
•Car seats must have a solid back and seat, secure restraint straps, and a label stating:
“This restraint device is approved for motor vehicle and aircraft use.”
•The AMSafe Aviation C.A.R.E.S. harness is also allowed

Placement rules:
•Car seats can’t be placed in exit rows, the rows directly in front or behind them, or the first row
•We recommend placing them in a window seat to avoid blocking the aisle
•Strollers may be used in the airport and gate-checked for free.
