ACTIVE MILITARY PERSONNEL BAGS
Frontier welcomes U.S. military service members* onboard and extends the following baggage waivers when presenting either a Common Access Card (CAC) with a uniformed services or academy affiliation or an Armed Forces of the United States Identification Card with an active duty, reserve, guard, or academy affiliation at the airport check-in counter or at the gate:
One free personal item
One free carry-on bag
Two free checked bags
These baggage waivers apply to the individual as well as accompanying spouse and children. All baggage accepted from U.S. military passengers, and their spouse and children, must comply with baggage acceptance policies regarding size and weight limits. Oversize and overweight baggage fees are waived for the first two free checked bags.
*Please note: Service members are defined as: current members of the military who are serving or may be called to serve. These members include: the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Marines, U.S. Space Force, U.S. Coast Guard, National Guard, and U.S. Military Reserves; Cadets of the Air Force Academy, West Point, Naval Academy, Coast Guard Academy, and Merchant Marine Academy; and Commissioned Corps and Ready Reserve Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service and Commissioned Officers Corps of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Officer Corps.
