To use a Companion Certificate, start by booking a flight and searching for a round-trip fare with two or more passengers. If you have a Companion Certificate available, a notification will appear at the top of the Flight Selection page indicating its availability. You will then need to check the box that says, “Apply Companion Certificate.” Make sure to enter your companion's FRONTIER Miles number on the Passenger Info page to apply your Companion Certificate successfully. Finally, you will see the dollar amount deducted for your Companion Certificate on the Payment page.
To check if you have an available Companion Certificate, follow the steps below:
Log into your FRONTIER Miles account.
In the right-hand corner, click on your name, and select “View Profile.”
Once on your Profile Page, scroll down to the Credit Card section. It will display the number of Companion Certificates you have earned along with their expiration dates.
You can only apply one Companion Certificate per booking for an eligible passenger, and it can only be applied to round-trip bookings.
A single booking may include only one Elite Companion/Companion Certificate at a time.
Companion certificates issued to Platinum and Diamond members cannot be combined with the Companion Travel benefit already included in those elite tier benefits. Only one Companion or Companion certificate may be applied per booking. Certificates will remain valid through their stated expiration date and will become available for use if your status changes from Platinum or Diamond.
Once redeemed, Companion certificates are non‑refundable. Companion flights may be changed (change terms and conditions apply), but redeemed certificates cannot be reinstated.
If your flight is canceled by the airline, the Companion certificate used for that booking will automatically be returned to your account.
